Welcome to ResinBronco.com

So, what is ResinBronco.com?

I have had a passion for the venerable 1966-1977 Ford Bronco, known as the Utility 101, for many years.

I had purchased a set of masters to make resin 1/24-25 scale bodies, but a lot of things happened from 2003 until now (2013).

I finally have one of the masters in my hands, and will be posting photos as soon as I can.

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Can’t wait to see your resin Broncos. Would like to see info on which chassis to use for them. I have several Broncos from H.O. scale up to my newest 1/10 Axial Wraith Bronco and then there is my 1/1 scale ’72 Bronco.

  2. I am working on using a bunch of different chassis for them. I have one version that has it’s own chassis. Another will use a chassis modified from the AMT International Scout, and one bare-bones, that you build your own. Thanks for asking.

  3. Gregg,
My name is Cody and I am specifically looking for a model/model kit for a 1969 Ford Bronco. This kit will be built for my father for his birthday(in 2 months). He has an actual 1969 Bronco and loves it with all his heart. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer and has escalated pretty quickly, so I’m trying to make something that will stay in his heart in this life and the next.

Do you possibly make this exact year model?

    Thanks so much in advance,

  4. I just got mine. Thank you, Gregg. I just ordered .060 lexan for the windows. Any suggestion on correct glue? (This is my first resin model)

  5. I use the “normal” hobby CA-Super Glue, the green one. For the windows, I love love love the Formula 560 white glue. Super strong, tacky in a few minutes, and no fogging of glass. I am also doing an article on using real glass for windows, but haven’t been able to cut it right yet. One out of five times are not good odds when cutting the glass.

  6. Jeff, I just ordered another round of the kits from the caster. I hope to have them in a week or so (by second week of November, 2014). I am doing them in batches of then now, since the initial excitement has died down a bit. I am still working on the half-cab version.
Thanks for asking and visiting the site.

  9. DaBoss…do you still have these kits for sale in 2016? Also , I live in Ohio, what kind of shipping times should I expect.

  10. I was expecting a whole new round of kits before Christmas. They didn’t show up yet. I’ll update the site as soon as I get them. Shipping time from when I get order till they get mailed out, when they are in stock, is about a week.
